Our small ranch started in 2002. We worked hard to put in fencing and make our existing buildings work for housing our alpaca herd. We still have a lot to do and will probably always be changing our facilities as the years go by. Now in 2013 our herd has expanded to 27 (4 agisted) so Larry has been busy expanding our facilities for them.
Working with our alpacas is a satisfying and relaxing project. We are still learning the nuances of keeping our alpacas healthy and active.
2011 was a very challenging year for us with 7 crias born on the farm. So we took a year off from breeding. We have watch these cria grow and are more than happy with their progress. 2012 we hope to breed a few and will look forward to this summer's crias.
