Spectacular events started in Portland, Oregon in 1997 with a focus on planning weddings and wedding related events. Just a year later, the demand for our expertise in other event planning areas, gave us the opportunity to expand our services to include corporate, fundraising, and other family oriented events.


Kim Andresen, is the owner of the company and has over 20 years of international event planning experience. Kim has planned and/or assisted with events in the Northwest, Canada, New Orleans, and in Europe. "No event is too complicated, when you have the time, experience and technology to make it happen" says Kim. Over the past 20 years, we have built a team with expertise in detail planning. We provide excellence in the coordination of events, fundraising, media relations, and can handle all your marketing needs.

As a former event coordinator for Pacific University, and Oregon Graduate Institute/Oregon Health and Sciences University, Kim has experience planning everything from corporate events and fundraisers, to university level class reunions. Kim started Spectacular Events to combine her creativity and event planning experience to help others achieve their own spectacular events!
