Rug Construction:  Our rugs are hand loomed in the United States by experienced weavers using 100% Suri Alpaca fleece from animals living at Suris of the Sangres in Westcliffe, Colorado. 

The alpaca fiber is spun around a jute core, which gives the rug years of durability and also has the advantage of being reversible.  These rugs resist fading and wear and also give a certain amount of sound proofing.

Rug Appearance: Each rug is unique and since it is hand woven shows occasional unevenness and nubs, which makes it one of a kind.

Cleaning and Care: Vacuum your rug with a smooth surface attachment on a frequent basis.  There will be a slight fiber loss each time but it is so minimal that you will not notice it.  Easily remove spots with mild soap and lukewarm water.  The entire rug surface can be shampooed with Woolite or it may be professionally cleaned.  Use a quality foam pad underneath your rug.
