Calypso's fleece is a bright peachy color with nice crimp and handle! We've bred her to our stellar herdsire RR Guns' Kit Carson. She was an easy breeder that took easily at the second try.
Unfortunately, she was sold as part of a purchase package that defaulted (and eventually came back to us) and so wasn't shown. But she has a nice square frame with excellent bite and conformation!
Her parents have nice fleece stats... Dad is out of the Snowmass gray/black line and has shown retained fineness with nice uniformity. Mom also has shown nice retained fineness. So we think her fleece will follow suit as she ages.
We've bred her to 17 X Campion RR Guns' Kit Carson for a 2018 cria. Both of her parents have black in their background and her sire has lots of gray. So we're hoping that, bred to Kit, she'll produce a black or gray cria.
We had planned to keep her in our foundation herd. But we've purchased some girls with new genetics for our herd and need to reduce our numbers. Calypso will be a very nice production girl for any herd. Our loss is your gain. She sells with her breeding to Kit and a free rebreed to any unrestricted Menagerie Hill Ranch owned herdsire.
