Chiquita has excellent lineage including Danko, Dark Shaddow, Crescent Mono's Velocity, Garnd River Amstel. Her sire is Country Lakes Benjamin, the true black offspring of Cresecent Mono's Velocity - a multiple champion male. Her dam is Chica a true black female with LP Nocha, Conchita, CMF Babu, and The Double E Hannibal genetics. Great dark colored true black genetics! Her mother, Chica is famous with our customers for having the most striking black fleece and yarn and it looks like Chiquita is following in her footsteps.
Chiquita is halter trained and walks easily on a lead. She is very friendly and calm, with a sweet personality . She is one of our best PR animals and has been a real star at our local children's library programs. She is very black, with a fine crimp. Her fleece when made into yarn, makes up in a very fine yarn with a great dark color.
She has good conformation and is a medium sized female with good, even proportions and a normal bite. She also placed 4th in a competitive black yearling class at the Michigan International Alpaca Show in 2015.
Chiquita has not yet been bred but is ready to produce some exceptional colored cria for a breeding program that desires excellent quality, non-fading fine, dark fleeces!
