Rockford Arctic Pearl

Pearl is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL pearl of a girl. She has so much personality, & her fleece is knockout gorgeous & is SO soft!!!

She has inherited so much from both of her parents: with our multi-blue ribbon winning, exceptionally dense herdsire-Snowmass Snow Legend--who's sire is the great Snowmass Incaaccoyo Star & grandsire is Snowmaster himself--as her father, & LPS Lucia Fernandez, one of our best 100% female producers as her mother.

With Pearl comes a line of lingering fineness (meaning their fleece stays fine). Her sire, Snowmass Snow Legend had an AFD of whopping 14.4 (year 1); 18.8 (year 3); 20.7 (year 5); & 21.6 (year 8).
Her dam, LPS Lucia Fernandez shows: 17.4 (year 1); 22 (6 years); & 22.8 (year 9)!!!

Pearl's histograms show incredible fineness: At 1 year of age, her AFD was: 20.8; 2nd year: 19.1; 3rd year: 21.5

Pearl had her first cria in August - a beautiful beige son: "Jem", sired by Rockford Reigning Thunderstorm, the stunning son of our late gentle giant-LPS Trujillo, & proud grandson of the Canadian champion, Pperuvian Javier G4547. We are excited to see what this mix of genetics, fiber & color will produce in Jem's first shearing.
