In business since 1996, Brookmere Alpacas has earned its reputation for fine quality Huacaya alpacas, honesty and integrity for thernbuyer and free advice and practical help after the sale. We were the firstrnalpaca breeders in Frederick County , Maryland and founding members of MAPACArn(Mid-Atlantic Alpaca Association) and MABA (Maryland Alpaca BreedersrnAssociation).

Our herd of 23, mostly Chilean alpacas offers a wide range of colors and fiber with a finernhand. Colors include solid whites, fawns, browns, rose and silver gray, blacks andrnpatterns of black & white, brown & white and fawn & white tuxedoesrnand pintos. The herd includes all 23 Huacaya Alpacas: 13 females (1 is a weanling), 9 males (4 are weanlings), and 1 gelding.

All are ARI-registered,rnAvid micro-chipped and halter trained.

For health reasons, we have not been able to show for the past 5 years, but inrnearly years, we had many ribbon winners, including a local area Grand Champion.rnWe have endeavored to improve stock during those years, so anticipate evenrnbetter quality animals now.
