Astonette #7: Coquina was born on a beautiful sunny day and was only 12.8#. Although she's tiny ~ she's full of spunk. Her medium fawn momma, Bianca, is a granddaughter of the famous Peruvian Hemingway who is known for passing longevity of fineness; at nearly 5 years of age she is proof of these genetics. Her 2011 fleece statistics are: AFD 17.6, SD 4.8, CV 27.1, %>30 2.6. First indication of Coquina's fleece is very, very fine; it's wispy fine with lots of staple and crimp, she's well on her way to producing her own very beautiful fleece:) (7/29/2011)
