Belle's Dam is RHF Alexis - and Alexis' sire is Viper who is also well known for his gray genetics, and Alexis' Dam - Silver One has generations of gray and black color in her lineage.
Belle's fleece is a gorgeous dark silver grey and feels soft and smooth. She has a medium crimp frequency and high curvature. Belle's gray color makes for a unique natural color. Her fleece is great for hand spinners, knitters and makes beautiful finished products.
Belle has a nice square, balanced confirmation with good coverage and consistency of fleece across her blanket. Belle is slightly larger than average size (tall) with average bone size. Belle took on her first breeding, with a textbook birth. She had milk immediately and was very attentive to her cria.
Belle is sociable and gets along great with other alpacas. She is halter trained and leads easily. She is not aggressive with other females and is an all around solid foundation female.
Belle is bred to multiple award winner Starsky by Snowmass Enlightenment for September 2015 cria. Starsky's Sire is Snowmass Enlightenment-MRG (Stud Fee $4,500.00), Snowmass XXXtreme-LB, Snowmass Royal Rose-MF, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova-MRG. His mom is a Chilean import Azapa 145-MB. Azapa was retired after Starsky was born and we believe this makes him even more special.
