Ahanhepi (Overcome by Night) arose from two top Alpacas de la Patagonia foundation alpacas and from one of two recent top lines they developed (Patagonia's Chief and Patagonia's Admiral). Ahanhepi comes from the Admiral line and was crossed to Patagonia's Pepita another top line of Patagonia known for sustained fineness and unusually strong density.

Ahanhepi comes from a cross between two very strong black lines Alpacas de la Patagonia has been developing possessing superb fineness while unusually strong density. This crossed Patagonia's Lennox with Patagonia's El Vasco but int his cross they doubled up on Danko when they pulled the Neruda and Nishio lines together. As you can see this is a very well developed and reasoned pedigree.

Ahanhepi's EPD support a tendency to stongly improve %>30 while reducing fineness and consistency.
