Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes was the first foundation female that Melody Lane Farms purchased in 2005 when we began in the Alpaca Industry.

Daughter to Scotts Royal Gold who is Accoyo and needs no introduction, he is the son to the famous PPPeruvian Royal Fawn (Peru) who is 100% Accoyo. Mercedes is not only Royal Fawns granddaughter also included is 6Peruvian Lizbeth (Peru). This fine lineage stems back to a long history on the sires side.

Daughter to Peruvian Ophelia (1/2 Accoyo) and lineage expanding with CPeruvian Accoyo Amadeus (Peru) who is 100% Accoyo and CPeruvian Speranza (Peru). Mercedes has strong genetics and history on the dam and sires side and has carried this on with her offspring.

Breedings to Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes have been high end and given us wonderful offspring. She throws the color of the herd sire majority of the time making our breeding choices very close to our expectations.

At 12+ years young Mercedes has more than proven herself by delivering 7 offspring all with uneventful births. Her fiber, still very dense though shorter in staple as she has aged due to pregnancies and her energies going into her babies.
