HRM's Mercedes

Mercedes has a blue black non-fading dense fleece! There is no brown hints anywhere. Her sire, Our Peruvian Solid Rock, is a medium silver grey Reserve Color Champion and he is out of Snowmass Peruvian Casanova and Peruvian Bueno. Her mother is a beautiful light rose grey, so Mercedes is packed with grey genetics! She has a correct bite and straight conformation with nice bone density. She is so mellow and has the most beautiful long eyelashes!

Mercedes' grandsire Snowmass Peruvian Casanova was the high seller at the 2002 Celebrity Futurity Auction where he sold for an amazing $147,000! He had a micron count of 18.3 at 3.5 years of age and his recent histogram was still under 25 microns at over 9 years of age! Casanova took home the prestigious Futurity Herdsire of the Year honors in 2003 for his outstanding offspring! Not only that, in 2005, the Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year was a Casanova son, Snowmass Nova, who sold in early 2006 for over $300,000! It's the first time ever that a sire and his progeny have won this prestigious award!

Snowmass Peruvian Casanova's sire is the famous Peruvian Bueno who turned out award-winning cria since he was imported from Peru in 1993. Bueno's legacy is indisputable. Picked as the #1 choice by three of the country's leading Alpaca breeders, this super Peruvian Macho was the high-selling Alpaca at the 1994 Spring Celebrity Sale.
