Mayhem Farm

Welcome to Mayhem Farm!

Mayhem Farm began in 2002, when we outgrew our old farm and moved to a new piece of land, with the mindset of adding alpacas to our already successful business of breeding Crabbet Arabian horses.

Once we found the right place to accommodate alpacas and horses, we moved, got our new farm settled and fenced, and then in came the alpacas -3 girls to start our alpaca adventure!

Our daughter runs the horse side of the farm, while Rob and Lynn handle the alpaca side.

Alpacas took some getting used to and with the first shearing, we were overwhelmed with fiber - 3 blankets and every bit of fluff we could pick up off the floor! OH MY, couldn t waste any of it!

Well, now 10 years later as more seasoned alpaca owners, we have learned a bit about fiber and while breeding alpacas is one of our goals, the larger goal is processing our fiber into products that we are proud of. Hand woven triangle shawls, handcrafted socks, and soon loom woven shawls and scarves will be featured in our future on-line farm store. Come see us and learn what Mayhem here is all about!
