About ACCOYOS OF VIRGINIA, LLC

Accoyos of Virginia, LLC was an idea brought to fruition in 2005. Since getting into the alpaca business in 2000 with full Peruvian alpacas and seeing the ease at which quality sells, we decided to ratchet it up a notch and focus strictly on full Accoyo. It is our desire to carry on the benefits of genetic gain begun by Don Julio Barreda s breeding program at Estancia Accoyo.

We invite you to take a closer look at our proven herdsires. They are all full Accoyo and are direct descendents from Don Julio Barreda s Estanchia Accoyo breeding progam in Peru. These herdsires have proven their worth in the show ring having won blue ribbon after blue ribbon, along with banners, and of even greater importance, they are consistently producing offspring that are displaying the most desired fiber qualities along with correct conformation.

Much thought goes into each breeding decision so that the outcome is the best it can be. We refuse to remain static and are always on the lookout for new and different genetics so that we can continually improve each generation.
