Ayabaca's Lavena's Joy

Lavena is one of our top animals at Kings Highway Alpacas so we will have to consider carefully any offers made on her. However she is an excellent choice for a farm wishing to start off right with the finest of the fine in foundation girls. Lavena herself was recommended to us years ago at the start by Amanda, a well known and very discriminating judge.

Lavena is a peach of a girl. Solid boned with fabulous fleece, she has a stoic cadence about her as well as being a super high end producer. She breeds and births with ease, and will even nurse other cria without skipping a beat. She maintains her weight easily and is a super easy keeper. Lavena has given us three cria and we simply adore them. Her daughter out of Skywalker from the Flying Dutchman herd, won a hard win taking 3rd place in the North American Alpaca Show, and her last year's cria was an outstanding girl out of The Monk's Oliver with simply gorgeous fleece. She is a stocky, solid girl with huge potential. This cria, Oliver's Joyful Madelyn, went on to win two red ribbons, one blue, and is part of our foundation herd now.

We look forward to every one of Lavena's cria. She is truly a joy around the farm. Back on April 25th, 2013 our Lavena gave birth to a son. His sire, Sleeping Monk's Oliver, holds many ribbons and championships. Because this boy was born so close to the tragic Boston Marathon bombing we named him Kings Highway Boston Strong as a small way to honor the victim's who lost their lives and those so severely injured. He is quite magnificent to behold. We have high hopes for him and he is available now for stud service. His baby shearing was so bright and curly. His build is strong much like his mom and dad's. This boy is a champion in the making. Be sure to check out his listing both here and on Livestock of America for additional photos. He is a full sister to Kings Highway Oliver's Joyful Madelyn. She has accumulated two reds and a blue.
