One of the long time girls in Snowmass breeding line. When we purchased her from Snowmass, all her previous cria had been put back into the Snowmass production line. She was considered foundation stock In their Elite Fine color line. She may be older than other foundation females you have viewed but she is certainly an "oldie but goodie". Still producing the highest of quality cria with no problems at all. Last year's cria won 2nd place at 2014 SWRAS in a large light fawn class. We sell her only because we have 3 of her offspring.
Ambrosia will do best in a home that isn't too cold in the winter time and one in which her owners are willing to provide her with supplemental grain. She doesn't put on near the fleece she did when younger and we find she does best with a small amount of Equine Senior to help keep her weight up, especially when nursing a cria. We don't mind the little extra she needs as the rewards far out do the costs.
