His fleece placed second at AlpacaMania 2011. The judge commented on his continuing fineness at 4 years old saying "exceptional fineness for age." We knew this all along. Bring this fineness, excellent conformation and his other outstanding traits to your herd.

He is so-o-o ready to breed. I have so much confidence in his ability to produce high quality cria. If I lost his sire I would use Sequoia myself. My pastures are full so breeding is out of the question at this time.

Sequoia is a very elegant male with a huge topknot. The photos show him in April 2010. His fleece displays his Hemingway heritage with its low micron and beautiful crimp. Because of his parentage he will be among those who maintain low microns and produce cria with low microns. He was not clipped or blocked for these photos. He came out of the pasture just as you see him.

His sire has placed second in EVERY show he was entered into, no matter the judge. His dam retains her fineness and is the souce of his elegance. He has lots of black, fawn, brown and white in his background and has the potential to produce cria of varying colors. Take a look at his certificate.

His dam's lineage has browns, blacks and white. His Snowmass sire is full of color as well. Sequoia's great-grandsire is Peruvian Hemingway. He has the potential to produce cria of almost any color. You can depend upon getting the topknot and a pleasant personality from Sequoia.

As with most farms, I have his lineage everywhere and can't use him, otherwise I would. I have a lot of faith in his potential to sire high quality in fleece and conformation.

He's ready to breed today!
